About

Hi, Nicola Baird here! I’m an environmental journalist and mum of two girls, Lola and Nell. We live with their dad, Pete May (who is also a journalist and a wonderfully funny writer) in a big city with various pets – a dog, mice and hens. We do a lot of walking, playing and dreaming up ways to keep our carbon footprint low. What I’d like to invite you to do is to follow this blog – especially if you are a parent of a young child – and share creative, thrifty and eco-friendly ways to raise children.

And if you like travelling have a look at my tips on green travel in the UK blog at http://aroundbritainnoplane.blogspot.com

Hollywood? Bollywood? No!! this time it's all about Nolly and Ghallywood!!

I believe that everyone knows Hollywood, and that a lot of people know of or about Bollywood (Indian movie Industry), but what about Nollywood and Ghallywood? In my blog it's all gonna be about the West African specifically Ghanaian and Nigerian movie industry.
